Noon Year's Eve on December 31, 2009
Party with the animals and celebrate New Year's Eve at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo on December 31, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Have a wild time with activities, entertainment and an early countdown to 2010. Enjoy this fun family event without having to stay up until midnight!

Teddy Bear Clinic 2010
Bring your favorite stuffed animal to Omaha's Zoo for some TLC. Zoo docents will have your favorite friend stitched up and nursed back to health. Free to Omaha's Zoo members or regular paid admission.

Science Olympiad 2010
Omaha's Zoo will host the 5th annual Metro Science Olympiad. Student teams in grades 7-12 will participate in math and science related competitions in order to prepare for the state Science Olympiad.

Read Around the World 2010
Celebrate reading with Omaha's Zoo during the annual Read Around the World event. Participate in various activities including stories and special animal encounters.

Photo Challenge 2010
Swing into Omaha's Zoo during the month of March to capture a "wild" shot and enter the 2010 Photo Challenge! Remember to keep a digital version of your photograph, as Omaha's Zoo may use winning photographs for future advertising!

Polar Bear and Cubs Club Spring Kick-Off 2010
Exercise, learn and explore Omaha’s Zoo with the Polar Bear and Cubs Club every Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. This club is free to Omaha Zoo members who are parents of pre-kindergarten aged children.

Ice Cream Safari 2010
Enjoy all-you-can-eat ice cream at the Zoo's Dairy World area from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., check out a special polar bear feeding, make fun milk crafts and more. A small fee will be charged.

Critter Ride 2010
Bring your bike and ride through the Zoo during this family fun event from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. There will be dinner, snacks, refreshments plus special animal encounters during the fun filled evening. Reservations will be required and a fee will be assessed.

Going Buggy at Wildlife Safari 2010
They creep and crawl, dangle and fly...come discover what else bugs can do! Fly over to Wolf Woods to check out bug displays, learn about bug’s important role in nature and participate in buggy crafts. Before leaving Wolf Woods, be sure to explore the area and see what type of creepy crawlies you can find on your own!

Sounds of Fall at Wildlife Safari 2010
Become an animal detective for a day! Learn to identify animals by their sounds, tracks and evidence they leave behind at Wildlife Safari during the Sounds of Fall event. Enjoy touching and feeling animal artifacts, participating in crafts and enjoying other special activities at Wolf Woods.

Zoo Run 2010
Lace up your shoes for the 30th annual Zoo Run! This event is great for runners of all levels with the choice between a five mile or one mile run. Reservations will be required and a fee will be assessed.

Spooktacular 2010
One of the most popular Halloween events in town, Spooktacular is fun for children of all ages!

This event offers guests the opportunity to trick or treat at Omaha's Zoo and fill their bags with goodies from special treat stations.

Haunted Safari at the Wildlife Safari 2010
Go on a haunted hike, take a spooky ride, enjoy supper, roast marshmallows and participate in ghostly games! Haunted Safari is a safe and fun Halloween event for families. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear your costume and dress warm as this is an outside activity. Reservations are required and a fee.
