Travel To The Rainforest In 2010!

Henry Doorly Zoo's Education Department is traveling to the Costa Rican rainforest during summer 2010.  Explore the vast biodiversity of this fragile ecosystem.  This all-inclusive trip is open to students (freshman in High School or older) and adults/teachers. 

For students, a one week career exploration camp will be held at the zoo prior to the ten day trip.  Students will also study the rainforest ecosystem.  Zoo Camp dates are June 14-21.  Trip dates are June 22-July 2, 2010. 

For students, the cost of the Costa Rica trip is $2,700.  This includes one week of class work at the zoo, airfare, hotels, transportation, food and activities.  For adults and teachers, the cost is $2,000 (does not include class work or books given out to the students).  The appliction must be sent in with a $500 non-refundable deposit.  Scholarships are available, please call to inquire.
